xradiancex from the Philippines. Influenced by the recent wave of Southeast Asian hardcore bands such as Destiny, Constitution, and Fordecision, they deliver a hybrid metalcore sound that draws from multiple influences. Even the artwork, which looks like a mash-up of State Craft and Undying’s demo and debut album aesthetics with a little something extra, gives you an idea of what to expect. Their raw, unpretentious vocals bring a human touch to the music, striking an excellent balance between emotional depth and aggression. We’re finally seeing a full-fledged wave of new bands emerging from a style that, until recently, had largely been thriving in neighboring Southeast Asian countries.
